We created a 0.9m long animatronic replica of the White-collared Jay for a Colombian client’s African bird collection. The model accurately reproduces the species’ distinctive coloration: black facial mask with narrow white crown band, indigo throat, and deep blue plumage. Realism was achieved through 3D-printed head/feet, hand-painted eyes, and layered artificial feathers.
