This mammoth replica stands 5 meters tall, representing the prehistoric mammal in accurate scale and proportions. The model is covered with brown adhesive synthetic fur that replicates the shaggy coat characteristic of ice age mammoths, with longer hair around the shoulders and shorter covering on the legs and face. Six coordinated animatronic movements bring the extinct creature to life: the head moves vertically and horizontally in scanning gestures, the eyes blink at natural intervals, the trunk sways gently in exploratory movements, the tail sweeps from side to side, and all these motions are accompanied by reconstructed mammoth vocalizations based on scientific understanding of proboscidean communication.
